The Fortnite Competitive Series (FNCS) is a yearly esports tournament presented by Epic Games. It gathers the top players from across the world and pits them against each other in an epic struggle for a $3,000,000 prize pool and an exclusive commemorative pickaxe (Axe of Champions).

The FNCS is split into three stages: qualifications, semi-finals, and finals. Aside from this, there are several events such as Cash Cups, Zero Build Trios cash cups, and many more. FNCS, like many other esports contests, uses a ladder structure. The top teams from previous rounds will advance to the following round, until just a few players from a certain area remain.

The following is a comprehensive list of FNCS 2022 dates.

  • Qualifier 1 will take place from July 8 to July 10;
  • Qualifier 2 will take place from July 11 to July 13;
  • Qualifier 3 will take place from July 16 to July 17.
  • Semi-Finals of the FNCS: July 22-24.
  • The FNCS Finals will be held on August 13 and 14.

To qualify for FNCS qualifications, players must achieve the minimum requirements and reach the Champion League in Fortnite Arena mode. This qualifying comprises of four rounds, with the number of participants decreasing with each round. The top five teams at the conclusion of round four will go straight to the FNCS finals.

In addition to qualifying, Epic sponsors console-specific cups. PlayStation users will be able to compete in a console-exclusive PlayStation cup beginning on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. The Trios Zero-Build Cash Cup begins on Friday, July 15, 2022, while a variety of Hype Cups begin on Saturday, July 18, 2022. To discover more, users may go to Epic Games’ official website.

Fortnite has a plethora of outlets where spectators may watch live coverage of the FNCS 2022. Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Fortnite’s website all provide live English coverage for EU and NA servers (watch.fortnite.com). The broadcast will begin on July 10, 2022, at 6 p.m. EDT for North America and 1 p.m. EDT / 7 p.m. CET for Europe. Epic also offers the option to ‘watch in-game.’

In Creative mode, players may visit Landing Legends. This map may be discovered by using the discovery mode or by putting the code 3303-7480-5925 into the search option. Epic also provides a clean stream connection for anyone that like to hold their own viewing party.
